gathering in Northern California

We plan to organize a gathering for young professionals working
in Northern California on the Independence Day. This will be a great
opportunity for networking, exchanging information, and getting away from
your busy life for just one day. Students are welcome too.

Okay, let me explain a little bit.  

Well, this gathering is just an idea of creating a platform for working professionals
to make friends with other Taiwanese at Bay Area,
to exchange their job-searching and employment experiences,
to network human resources,
to expand social circle,
to relax and have fun...

We don't have pre-determinated agenda for this meeting, but we don't want people just come eat and then leave without getting some take-home ideas.
We hope people be able to learn something beneficial to their careers, that's basically what it's meant.

Students are also welcome, if they want to meet other working professionals. Maybe working experiences we share will be helpful in their job-searching process.

It will be on on Independence Day, probably in Cupertino. If anyone knows any place good for this gathering, we will be happy to consider that as well.

BTW, we are not from any associations. The gathering is just an idea of couple friends.
And we hope to see friends from this USTSU, too.

聽起來是個不錯的idea
我覺得台灣人確實很需要這種活動來networking & 在職場上互相幫忙

不過你還是沒有講 你們是什麼組織耶
我想大部分的人還是希望知道主辦人是誰 是營利還是非營利的性質
只是一個飯局還是還有別的活動 大概預估有多少人等等細節
才能決定要不要參加吧

能不能把具體的東西提出來
而不是只是一個概念...
當初也有別的活動這樣搞
結果現場是在闡述政治理念......
