學校宿舍

有人知道下學期的學校宿舍大概什麼時候可以住進去嗎?
現在已經確定要去那裡, 8/23 開學, 機票想買8/15到達的,

但是之前打電話過去housing問,
幾乎沒人知道宿舍可以住進的日期...問到了三個很模糊的答案........
1. 19號
2. 22號
3. 一個禮拜前.(16號??)

請問有人知道一個大概的日期嗎?

housing contract上面會寫什麼時候可以搬進去
我記得是開學前一個禮拜之類的
如果提前來的話
你可以先跟housing office說...
他會讓你提早搬進去
只是你要多付提早搬進去那幾天的錢
好像一個晚上25塊吧@@

想請問Double W/ Kitchen和Double W/O Kitchen哪個Overall的開銷(吃的比較主要?)的會比較低?

我是要到那裡當一個學期的交換生,
所以不打算買車.
對哪裡完全不熟,
所以想請知道的人幫忙回答一下.

要看清楚宿舍的contract喔
雖然沒有廚房的宿舍看起來比較便宜...
可是一定要買meal plan...(個人覺得學校餐廳的食物不怎麼好吃啦!)
meal plan+Double w/o kitchen的錢跟double w/kitchen的錢好像差不多
不過如果你不會或不愛煮飯...meal plan可以打發你的三餐

如果你對食物很挑的話..也願意自己下廚的話
其實住有廚房的宿舍比較好..
學校附近的超市腳踏車都可以騎的到
自己煮其實不會花費太多

I have w/o kitchen now cause I have no idea where the markets are,
but I would like to change it since I cook.

and I heard that CSUN has a huge campus,
Map on google show there's a market somewhere around,
but I don't know if that would be like walmart or target.

Is it easy to get there if I don't have a bike?
and are there a lot of good restaurant around the campus?

there is couple market within reach near campus....
But u would need help to get to Target or Walmart....
there is suround restaurant around campus if u aint really picky on the foods....

i believe you cannot change the type of the room once you are decided!!!
therefore you will spend like 1500 for your meal plan per semester!!
as tfkc05 said, there are many markets around here!!
walmart and target might be too far away from campus, but you can take bus to go to those places.

who said CSUN has a huge campus?
compare to many UC campus or USC, we are not!

原來如此... 真可惜和 w/ kitchen的宿舍錯過了,
可能再算一下預算,
然後看情況要不要打電話死纏爛打的看他們會不會給我換...orz
不過我想可能會認命吧．．．
雖然housing給我的是w/o kitchen,
但我不記得我有選過．．

那請問從宿舍走到附近的market買菜需要半個小時嗎?
不想提著三四袋菜走45分鐘的路
而且我發現我還常碰到迷路這種事...哈..
