New Account Specialist (LOCATION: San Jose) - Temp

Responsibilities:
      Responsible for providing analytical and specialized
      project/administrative support in new account engagement process,
      database management, and data analysis.  Ability to prioritize
and organize and manage schedules, multi task and work in a fast
paced environment. Strong ability of problem-solving and attention-to-details
skills. Able to change direction in response to changing work situations;
      ability to prioritize own work and resources to complete projects
on time and to solve routine problems effectively
      Ability to establish good working relationships in work group as
well as other groups within TSMC.Job responsibilities include, but not limited to, new customer communication, data organizing and analysis, calendar management, travel planning, report & presentation preparation and day-to-day office management

Requirements:
      Education: BA/BS degree minimum, MBA preferred
      Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience.  Experience in
      semiconductor field is a plus
      Relationship Management: Can develop and maintain excellent
      relationship across the board
      Skills: Strong project management, data analysis, communication
and
      coordination.  Must be extremely detail oriented, computer
literate.
      Mandarin speaking/writing is a plus

TSMC好像都專門找temp,而且聽說temp下去就是5年10年的
一般員工不提供身分也不給福利,這樣能吸引人才上門嗎?

Temp in TSMC has full insurance coverage and 5 vacation days after 1 year

The average US companies vacation start from 12 ~ 15 days per year. 5 days is a joke. If u wanna stay in US, go to US companies otherwise go back home. The Chinese companies or Taiwan companies here they treat you like crap, they know you are looking for GC and they think you are begging for GC, they think they are being mercy to give you a pitty job with ++++++be educated!++++++ty pay because they sponsor ur GC. Get real friends! One of my friend in Chicago waited for 9 years finally got his GC with the help from Senator, his company is Wei-Chain Foods.

5 vacations after 1 year. In other words, u get nothing in first year.
You accrue the vacation days the first day you work in US companies.
Wake up wake up...

This is a 3-4 months temp job. Not the permanent position.
Normally, for temp position, the companies in US will not cover you the insurance and do not give paid vacation. It's paid basically by hours.

I do agree with you in some points. Some companies do that to employees that need PR sponsor.................. But sometimes, I think overall, lots of Chinese do not even dare to ask nor argue for what they really want, especially compare to Indian...........

TSMC這麼大的公司應該要有大公司的風範,難道這種作法是為了鼓勵留學生回台嗎
UMC也是,沒身分的resume連看都不看,這就是台灣的晶圓雙雄:hitwall:

以前和同事聊天得到一個結論:
華人老闆是以壓榨員工賺取更多利潤為己任,置員工死活於度外
同樣的職位同樣的工作內容,華人公司的薪水福利百分之百比美國公司低四成
看老闆吃香喝辣,妳只能趴在地上舔那溢出來的湯汁

只能說小小一張GC,逼死一堆英雄好漢
