Long time no see!

Recently I have encountered more Taiwan students are coming to study US due to visa issues, so some of them may have to try to find other alternative way.  I went back to the email "iceyyose" that I no longer used but the memories of 2002 that I had connected with so many students coming to US study, and some did stay to work locally.  That time these students had made my life so much meaningful. I am not sure if I ever running into them again. Some of that time joining I created a AAWSC group, as some are now city Mayor, CEO for family business, working in construction field. I hope to continue discover them. Thanks, USTSU that time and I do wish would connect some of them so we could do amaze things together for our community. Most of them email no longer working so unsure how I am going to find them. I do believe Yuan someday we may meet again.  

My life has changed so much over these 24 years, from a married wife and became a widow for 8th year and my son now graduated from college and working in IT company. Our company and our son were the gifts that my husband left me so I did try my best to keep up with both. I am not sure how each of you have been these 24 years? I am back to help those students want to come to USA. I am also a volunteer and board member for a local after-school program in our city for stem age from 4 to high school. This year we have 18 students going to college and some have received full scholarship. Recently I am helping Atrium hospice for our coming golf tournament fundraising in October. I am also volunteering for marketing planning. Last year I joined UNC Stroke and TBI group we meet once a month virtually. There are 100 million strokes worldwide, when my Godpa had three times stroke that I could not help him, so I do hope to learn more so I could support community ever run into. These 8 years forced me to grow faster and learn to be independent again. I was very lucky I have met my Godparents taken us in till later we could find our way. Life is unexpected and you can plan all you want and you just do not know what will hit you. So lost my dad 10 years ago and my husband 8 years ago, my Godpa also 5 years, this year my professor Dr. Henry Lee also passed in spring. Two of WWII veterans I had encountered also passed in their 100+. USTSU is still around. I am not sure how others whom I met here and if they ever come back here once a while? One young man from New School contacted me here in 2004, I found someone to pick him up at airport. Later I also found him a lifetime partner from one of our club members. I recently just reconnected with them again.

Thanks Hua and he still keep it going. BBS in 1995 and yahoo chatroom 2000+, MSN 2000+, even skype 2025 closed one by one. Just want to share with you all here.
