Armed Robbery in Lot C1 Wednesday Evening
Cal State East Bay University Police report that an armed robbery took place in parking lot C1, adjacent to Pioneer Heights, at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday evening, July 9.
The victim was a male who was entering his vehicle when three black male adults in their mid-20s approached him, one brandishing a black handgun. The victim was searched and forced to the ground by the suspects, who took his wallet, cell phone and laptop that featured CSUEB markings. The victim's credit card was used in the Oakland area approximately two hours after the robbery occurred.
One of the suspects is described as 6-feet tall, with dark complexion, shoulder length hair worn in two pigtails or similar style. He was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. The other two suspects are each described as approximately 5-foot-9 in height with light complexions and short hair. One was wearing a gray and red sweatshirt and jeans. No description of the third suspect's clothing was available.
The three suspects were last seen leaving the campus in a silver PT Cruiser with Nevada license plates.
