I went to Traffic School last Saturday from 8:30 to 5 and here are some of the updates that I'd like to share with commuters so that you won't pay Uncle Sam anymore or spent a beautiful day for a boring lecture. % U% q+ a6 ^4 l- b T! ^& u

1. Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50 starting 1/1/06 (NOT $271, posts on the highway are old). Don't do it again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple, and 4th time license suspended. ( O5 r( u5 L/ x
2. Incorrect lane change $380. Don't cross lane on solid lanes or intersection 0 y) m- {+ F$ U5 _( ?1 ^9 s$ i9 p
3. Block intersection - $485
8 R$ `! \; J; R4. Driving on the shoulder - $450 1 e2 x' v' |) s4 _$ m- f( ~
5. Cell phone on the construction zone. - Double fine " O: c& d* d' `* w6 j2 i8 T0 p% \; @
6. Passengers over 18 not on the seatbelts - both passengers and drivers get ticket
% k( j4 p4 v) x: ]6 H J7. Speeders can only drive 3 miles above the limit. A classmate drive 71 MPH on 280 and got ticket.

% y$ M7 V$ O9 J2 }; vJust for your curiosity, I got the ticket because of rolling stop at the Stop sign where cops were hiding behind a bridge. # }1 I( I# Y) Y( d0 C, }7 z9 L
