關於選課

本身人不在美國,所以沒法跟advisor討論選課的事,那要怎麼知道要選哪些課,還是過去以後在September 12  Last day to add和September 20  Enrollment census date這兩天加退選選就好了,真怕選不到自己要的課

謝謝你的回覆 還特別跑到我們系上去看網頁,我寫過信給這個教授了,他的回覆大致上是要我自己去看網頁,還有最好人是在校園,這樣比較好辦事,所以我不知道當初你在過去之前都是怎麼選課的,還是到了開學之日才選
ps.這是那位教授的回覆,回答的滿籠統的,覺得沒得到什麼幫助,不知這樣是否正常

  If you have received a code from Graduate Admissions you can register
on-line.  If not they should be sending you some information about
registration.  There is no physical exam required.  With respect to health
insurance, I believe there is some option for this when you register.  
These are all items that are not done through the Department.  With respect to
the prerequisiste classes, you can check on the Chemistry Department home page
or the University Home page for the schedule to see if instructors have
been assigned for these classes.  If so, you could contact them by email.
Otherwise you would have to wait until you are on-campus.  I would advise
seeing them or communicating with them as soon as possible.  You need to
take only two of those courses listed.

呵呵，你情況比我好很多...

我去年六月申請春季班前先寄信給我想跟的教授拜個假性碼頭，對方也有回應  

後來十一月申請上，到今年一月前定期發EMAIL詢問選課的事情

完完全全都沒有收到回信   :hitwall:  

後來，一月初來到SJ。25號開學前，我就先註冊好prerequisite courses，外加兩堂不確定可否「先」修的課程

因為當時，系辦告訴我，我的指導教授開學後才會回來...

開學後，我跟教授討論過，決定退選一堂...

聽說在第二階段選課如果沒有選的話，是不是之後再選就會被罰錢。還有如果先選的話變成要先付錢，那該怎麼決定？另外指導教授是去了美國再接觸也來的及嗎？您當初聯絡的這個教授是您現在的指導教授嗎？

當然不會，還有第三階段

在DEADLINE結束前沒有付費，該階段選課的紀錄會全部被系統CANCEL掉...
看個人：在台灣刷卡（SURCHARGE），還是到美國開戶用E-CHECK或面交（沒有SURCHARGE）

Credit Card
You can pay by credit card online at MySJSU.

•Credit cards are not accepted in person at the Bursar’s Office windows.
•You must logon to MySJSU and navigate to:
•Self Service > Student Center > Finances > Make a Payment, then select the link to pay with a credit card.
•We accept MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
•There is a 2.75% service charge for paying with a credit card
