Systems Admin positions . data analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the effective implementation of the Company's IT security program, IDS alert monitoring, incident response planning, policy and standards development, and supporting various legal and regulatory information security compliance initiatives affecting industry.



MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:



1.   Manage day-to-day allocation of work to available resources to ensure department service levels are met. Anticipate staff shortages or surpluses and proactively communicate these to the manager.

2.   Establish and maintain positive working relationships with business clients and vendors.

3.   Provide problem-solving support for other Data Security staff and users with access and security problems.

4.   Maintain user access profiles for software systems using established tools and security guidelines.

5.   Participate in security related projects as assigned by the Manager, Information Security.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

REQUIRMENTS:

·         Minimum of 2 year degree or equivalent work experience

·         Excellent interpersonal skills.

·         Superior organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Working knowledge of Windows, AS400s, AIX systems

·         Knowledge of financial industry.
