I went to Traffic School last Saturday from 8:30 to 5 and here are some of the updates that I'd like to share with commuters so that you won't pay Uncle Sam anymore or spent a beautiful day for a boring lecture. 1 @3 f/ U# V: J0 A- E" C3 q

1. Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50 starting 1/1/06 (NOT $271, posts on the highway are old). Don't do it again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple, and 4th time license suspended. 6 Y6 X" @4 y2 K8 V0 ^: D
2. Incorrect lane change $380. Don't cross lane on solid lanes or intersection / l3 u K/ O% y( q/ j
3. Block intersection - $485
& e0 J5 ^& c6 f: h- R1 d4. Driving on the shoulder - $450
) |" r" x+ I* t& @6 N5. Cell phone on the construction zone. - Double fine
. D b4 N' |) \( K2 j: U6. Passengers over 18 not on the seatbelts - both passengers and drivers get ticket 9 O& X+ q/ i. }7 X1 g2 X2 e0 u# f, x' n
7. Speeders can only drive 3 miles above the limit. A classmate drive 71 MPH on 280 and got ticket. 3 B& Y" i9 l! B% c9 _
8. DUI = JAIL

Just for your curiosity, I got the ticket because of rolling stop at the Stop sign where cops were hiding behind a bridge.
