你的career goal?

最近開始被公事上的人問到
你的ultimate career goal是啥
你看到你自己在1年  5年 10年 後 是什麼樣子?

一個讓我楞住的問題 :confused:

所以想問問大家
你們對這2個問題看法如何
你是怎樣看待你的career的
還有 老闆會希望聽到怎樣的回答壓(沒辦法 我就是好奇寶寶 )

如果你問我1 ,5,10年後會生幾個小孩  
那應該會簡單一些

其實我覺得答案很不一定
因為如果能預測的出來的話
那大家就去擺攤當算命師了:

可不可以換各角度問
大家"希望"1,5,10年後達成的短期  中期  遠期目標是什麼呢?

(還是我自己搞混原問題在問什麼了嗎?)

我還覺得生小孩比什麼都難勒 (不管對一個男人或女人來說 :P) 小孩子的教導更是the most under-appreciated job in the whole world...所以不要小看它 :)

至於the ultimate career goal,其實好像答案都差不多. I mean in general,人在工作上都想往上爬, right? 差別可能就在於how high you want to climb. 如果是老闆問的,那回答就一定要誇張一點,總不可能像以下的對話吧:

Boss: So, Mr. Johnson, tell me about your ultimate career goal...

Johnson: Well, in 1 year, I hope I can be demoted from the General Manager to an office manager. In 5 years' time, I hope I can reduce myself to just an office clark. And after 10 long years, I hope to get my ass fired!

Boss:

So, as your can see, if the boss knew about Mr. Johnson's ultimate career goal, the boss would probably never hire Johnson in the first place. 還有,工作的地方通常是a world of "dogs eat dogs", 所以會問ultimate career goal的人可想知道whether you will be in their way to their ultimate career goal
