申請MBA program, 想跟大家請教!

大家好，我是今年申請MBA program的學生，昨天被學校通知被放到waiting list裡,
我的背景如下：

GMAT　：　600
TOFLE：　247
GPA　：     2.99
WE      ：2.25 year in a multi-national computer company

在學校通知的email裡，他說明會於六月初通知最後決定，
也希望我可以考慮重考GMAT and/or　修習　calculus and/or algebra，
我已經回信給學校說明我會儘速重考GMAT(但我的GMAT是兩年前考的，現在短時間要我準備也怕成績會不理想)，
而calculus and/or algebra的部份，我也會在開學後加強學習。

因為我對Santa Clara University有很大的興趣，所以想跟各位前輩請教，現在是有什麼事情各位可以建議我做，
以增加我被錄取的機率？
也想順便請問各位，貴校waiting list錄取率高不高？

不知其他同學有沒有遇到類似情況，請解惑一下

你GMAT 600分不算差呀,為什麼你要重新考. 學校為什麼要求你要拿這麼多數學課

可不可以把學校給你的原文信跟我們分享一下.

你除了GPA低了點,其他看似OK. 你的工作經驗怎麼樣,自傳和讀書計畫都OK吧

不是要潑你冷水,waiting list是說正取的學生不要來才有你的份.

目前我們學校MBA還滿熱門的,一堆印度人搶著進來.你要等到waiting list approve 是有點困難

After considerable review and discussion, the decision has been made to wait list you for the Evening MBA Program beginning in Fall 2007.  We will be able to give you a final admissions decision during the first week of June.

We encourage you in that time frame to consider retaking the GMAT and/or begin taking a review course in algebra and/or calculus.  Let us know if you have decided to do this because it will certainly factor into the
final admission decision.

以上是我所收到的信的內容，下面我在貼上他在看完我的回覆後所做的回應，

All MBA students must meet the pre-program proficiencies of algebra prior to beginning the program and math analysis/calculus by the end of their first quarter in residence. If these requirements have not been met, students may opt to take the algebra or calculus exam. Additionally, you may fulfill these requirements elsewhere.  We have attached a list of Bay-area colleges offering mathematics courses that fulfill our pre-program requirements.

You will hear from us the first week of June regarding your application status, but in the meantime please be in touch to update us on any new additions you plan to make to your application, such as your new GMAT scores and any coursework.

大家好，我在昨天收到Jennifer Malone的email通知我被扶正了！
因為我之前一直計畫著要去Thunderbird University念Pre-MBA，唸完如果沒有別的學校要我的話就繼續唸他的MBA，
現在也預計529出發，機票也買好了，我想還是去Thunderbird上Pre-MBA，一邊練語文，一邊觀察學校是否適合我，
但是因為SCU的文件要過幾個禮拜才會收到，想請問各位前輩SCU是否有什麼特別的要求是需要我在台灣先做好的？
還有SCU是否會要求做體檢，如果有又會有什麼特殊的項目嗎？

你應該會收到學校的一張體檢單

把他拿去市立醫院做個檢查就行啦

另外......如果你有認識的醫生就更方便.因為體檢單上面的疫苗都是我們小時候一定都有打過的
如果你有認識的醫生,請他再上面簽字就行啦.

SCU的體檢很檢單,不需要檢附什麼證明文件

反正重點是......找個醫生幫你簽字.

最我2005年入學是這麼簡單
