I am not sure if that is something new in the new student rules as I never heard during the time I was in school. Long ago, I did hear some of my friends talked about them studied aboard and worked at Chinese restaurant under table paid. I also knew several Chinese restaurant locally as they helped their worker applied and they worked for few years till they can get their status then changed to other company. It is all depending on what country you are from. I have not checking the site if there is any change or they are still the same. Most of people got their F1 and they need to prove 1 years finance and also go through the interview at US Embassy. We had all done those hard work ourselves in the past. The world today it is all about relationship so beside school, you need to plan ahead. I will need to dig through those news regarding above post before I make any comments. In America, you will always keep yourself with legal status as jumping back and forth if needed. Most companies now may not want to pay full H1B fee so you may want to research and talk to their HR before you are graduating or hired by them. Personally I have done many pro Bono research, it is not a lot out there so you may want to call your local bar association to get referral and also find any legal or law major in your own school if any. Then, surely go to your local TAA or TSA to ask for any assistance. Regardless it is about your own status, people won't care so you need to be top of your game. Go to USCIS website to read through the detail what law apply. Use social media to share your case. if you are lucky, someone may help you. That is all I will share for now and good luck and take care. |
